How I can help

Keeping up to date and continued education is incredibly important to me. The more tools I have in my toolbox the easier it is to find what treatment works for you. I spend a lot of time attending courses and training to better help my patients. During an initial assessment I spend time finding out what your concerns are and develop a treatment plan. Every person is unique and there is no recipe book that can be followed when dealing with injuries.

In the spring of 2022 I completed a 6 month clinical mentorship program with the world renown Diane Lee in the Integrated Systems Model (ISM). This form of assessment and treatment is looking at the whole person from the feet to the cranium using an integrated approach of release, align, connect and move.

Manual Therapy

  • Skilled hands on movement and passive movement of joints and soft tissue.

  • Hands on treatment for pregnancy related pelvic pain.

  • Comprehensive assessment and management of alignment and movement.

Exercise Prescriptions

  • Specific exercise programs tailored to your body’s needs and your goals.

  • Short for neuromuscular activation. Neurac treatments focuses treating the actual causes of a patient’s problem and not just the symptoms.

  • Kinesio taping method is a therapeutic taping technique that alleviates pain and facilitates lymphatic drainage by microscopically lifting the skin. Sports tape provides support to joints and reduce pain and swelling, improving physical activity and allowing athletes to optimize their performance without compromising safety.

Assessments & Treatments

  • Looking at alignment, movement and assessing joints, ligaments and the nervous system.

  • This can be therapeutic ultrasound, different types of electrical stimulation and heat therapy.

  • Physiotherapy for kids of all ages. Developmental assessment, treatment of gross motor delays, plagiocephaly (baby flat head), torticollis (wry neck), toe walking and neurological conditions and syndromes.

Accupuncture

  • IMS is a form of acupuncture that involves inserting a very thin needle into a muscle. IMS is extremely effective at loosening tightened muscles and reducing pain even after as little as one session.
